To all of you gamers wondering whether or not you should get Little Big Planet or Fallout 3, I recommend getting them. Both games are equally fun, Fallout 3 is an Oblivion with guns whereas Little Big Planet is more of a Mario game, where you make your way through obstacles, play in teams, and even make your own levels. These two games are great, so I truly do recommend you buy them. Also, looking ahead into the next couple weeks, all of you should look into Resistance 2 and Call of Duty 5 because these two games will be flawless.

Once I've played a bit more of Little Big Planet and Fallout 3, I will write a complete blog on both of them.

Call Of Duty 4

Call Of Duty 4

Another great game made by Activision and Infinity Ward.
The graphics are absolutely stunning, the plot and game play are exceptional, and the online play is out of this world!
Without doubt, this is one of the best games out today. People all over the world are playing it, and no matter what time it is, you will find someone to play with online.

First and foremost, the campaign. Throughout the game, the plot unwinds and reels you in even further. The graphics are great in the single player campaign, and it is a great challenge if you decide to play it on Veteran. Also, for the first time there is a sniping mission, where its just you (as Captain Price), your leader, and your M21. This mission is by far the most memorable, and it is also one of the more challenging ones in the game. The campaign, overall, is comparable to Metal Gear Solid 4's single player; both are absolutely awesome. Also, you can even earn a VIP mission after beating the game, which is extremely hard on Veteran, and you even unlock Arcade Mode, where you can go through the game and earn points, trying to finish each mission with the most points that you can.

Now for the best part of this game; the online play. The game is just so fast and action-packed that you don't even want to put your controller down. Secondly, there is a great variety of maps, ranging from short shotgun maps to big, open fields where the sniper is your best choice. Also, unlike any other Call of Duty, you can choose what perks or attachments you want on your weapons. For instance, you can make 5 different bundles of weapons, with 1 main weapon (or 2 once you unlock the overkill perk) a pistol two different gernades (smoke, flash, stun, and normal) and three perks that improve certain attributes of your soldier (such as increased health, increased bullet damage, increased stamina, etc.). Also, if you want to heave a silencer or a red dot sight on your gun, then you can add it on. This is great because you are finally given the option to choose instead of having to use the bad, original guns.

This is a must buy for any PS3 owner! Even when Call of Duty 5 comes out, people will still be playing this game. Everybody should have the chance to play the best shooter ever created, so if you don't want to buy it, rent it for a while...it won't disappoint. If you don't believe me check out this out. Also, if you want a professional opinion, go here, although it's for the 360, the game is actually the same so it makes no difference.

Madden NFL 2009 Review

Madden 09
Publisher: EA

Wow! When I bought Madden 08, i thought nothing would ever be able to surpass it; it was so fun, the graphics weren't bad, and I loved superstar mode. After putting the Madden 09 disk in my PS3 and playing it for half an hour, i realized why EA was still in the business.

First off, this game has new features, such as the rewind, which allows you(if you choose) to give yourself mulligans so you don't have to throw that pick and watch Champ Bailey or Quentin Jammer return it for a TD, and chuck your controller. Now, at the beginning of every game, you can choose to give yourself 0, 1, 3, 5, or unlimited re-do's. The way this feature works is at the end of every play, a little clock shows up at the bottom of the screen saying rewind, and you press square if you want to use one, or x to decline. If you rewind, you will start at the beginning of the play you deciding to rewind, but you will not be able to re choose your play. You can just imagine how much time you save!

Next, the graphics are greatly improved. Most of the little glitches in 08 were fixed, which makes the game look more real, and the players more fluid. No longer (from what I've seen) does the ball glitch right through the Cornerback's hands and end up in the opponent's WR's hands. Additionally, the grass is very realistic which is a great improvement from the old grass. Also, there is more detail in the players then there was before, making them look much more realistic.

Finally, the game as a whole is much more fluid, and much less frustrating. With the new default view, you see the field more from the quarterback's perspective, which allows you to know what is going on around you, and whether your Wide Receiver is open or not. Also, when running with the ball, there is much less delay between the button pressing and the action. When you press circle, your RB instantly does a spin move without the little studder steps there were in 08 that always led to you being tackled.

After playing online, I knew that I would be hooked to this game. The good news is that there are no rewinds for multi-player, which means you can play a game with little disruption. This game is as fun online as it is when you are playing a computer, which is definitely a good thing because when you're sick of playing against the computer, just sign in and play a game!

Overall, this game is a vast improvement from the previous one, and it is just as enjoyable if not more enjoyable than the last one. Its got plenty of new features that add to the overall appeal, but I'll let you discover those on your own. As always, I recommend that you rent before buying, but if your a Football fan, or you if like Football games, I definitely recommend renting this game whenever you can...it won't disappoint you.

Note: Will post more information such as online play as I continue to play
